Community Hospital-Fairfax is offering free heart health screenings to anyone who wishes to better understand their risk for heart disease. Knowing and understanding the risk factors for a heart event can help individuals make decisions today to be healthier in the future.

 On Friday, February 21, 2014, members of the CH-F team will be at the Holt County Outpatient Building (514 State Street, Mound City) from 6:30 a.m. to 8 a.m. offering cholesterol, blood sugar, blood pressure, body composition and a heart health risk assessment. Everyone is welcome and all of the services are being offered free of charge. Fasting is required for best results. A light breakfast will be provided by CH-F.

 On February 25, 2014, CH-F is teaming up with Heartland Recreation Center (HRC) to offer free screenings to Atchison County residents. The team will be at HRC from 5:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. offering a full range of heart healthy screenings. Again, everyone from the community is welcome to take advantage of these screenings free of charge. Included are cholesterol, blood sugar, blood pressure, body composition and a heart health risk assessment. Fasting is required for best results. A light breakfast will be provided by CH-F.
