Community Hospital-Fairfax Family Medicine Clinics in Burlington, Mound City and Oregon Partner with Stoner Drug for 340B Prescription Drug Savings Program

Community Hospital-Fairfax (CH-F) is proud to announce that it has partnered with Stoner Drug to bring 340B to patients served by the Family Medicine Clinics in Burlington, Mound City and Oregon. Eligible patients will now be able to take advantage of 340B pricing for qualifying prescription drugs which will result in discounted prescription prices.

Patients eligible for participation in the 340B drug discount program are determined by the Health Resources and Service Administration (HRSA). Individuals are required to be a patient of Mound City Family Medicine, South Holt Family Medicine or West Nodaway Family Medicine. Community Hospital-Fairfax outpatients may also eligible if certain criteria are met. HRSA defines a qualifying patient as one who has a healthcare relationship with a clinic provider and that the patient’s medical record is stored at one of the eligible locations.

Providers at the Community Hospital-Fairfax Mound City, Oregon and Burlington Junction clinics invite patients to discuss 340B eligibility at their next appointment.

“Qualifying our clinics for this program has been a long-term goal. We are very excited to be able to work with local pharmacies to provide discounted prescription drug prices to our patients” explained Dustin Carpenter, M.D.
