Roger Steinkruger Named as Interim CEO at Community Hospital-Fairfax

Fairfax, MO, August 6, 2014

Community Hospital-Fairfax (CH-F) is proud to welcome Roger Steinkruger to the CH-F family as the interim CEO. Roger’s tenure at CH-F began on Wednesday, August 6, 2014 with an introduction to Department Directors by Board President, Bob Jackson.

“Roger has over forty years in healthcare leadership including his most recent position as a CEO at a critical access hospital in Nebraska. We feel that his leadership skills and experience are a great fit for CH-F,” explained Bob.

Roger comes to CH-F from Tri-Valley Health System in Cambridge, Nebraska, where he was successful in increasing services and revenue as the CEO. Prior to that, he served at several mid-sized hospitals in Nebraska after spending the first twenty plus years of his career in the Bryan Health System in Lincoln.

“I have been blessed to spend over forty years in hospital leadership. I am grateful for this opportunity at Community Hospital-Fairfax to continue what I consider to be my calling,” Roger shared.

Roger takes the place of Myra Evans, who recently resigned after 14 years as the CH-F CEO. Roger will continue as interim CEO through the process of selecting a permanent CEO for CH-F.
