Meet Our Medical Staff

 Dr. R. Aron  Burke was raised in Rock Port, Missouri. He attended medical school at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine. He completed his residency through AHEC Northwest in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He lives in Rock Port with his wife, Joanna and their three children, Journi, Alex, and Aiden. Dr. Burke enjoys hunting, the outdoors and attending his children’s sporting events and supporting local junior and high school sports.

Dr. Burke is a board certified family physician who sees patients at his family practice offices in Rock Port and Tarkio as well as Community Hospital-Fairfax for inpatient care, endoscopies, obstetrics and cesarean section deliveries.

Dr. Eduardo Fernandez joined Northwest Health Services in Mound City in 2007.  Dr. Fernandez attended medical school at Santo Tomas Faculty of Medicine and Surgery in Manila, Philippines.

Dr. Maria Espejo joined Northwest Missouri Health Serivces in Mound City in 2008 to practice alongside her husband, Dr. Eduardo Fernandez. She attended medical school at Santo Tomas Faculty of Medicine and Surgery in Manila, Philippines and completed her residency at the University of Pittsburg.

Drs. Fernandez and Espejo are board certified family practice physicians. Dr. Fernandez see patients on Mondays and Thursdays at Community Hospital-Fairfax in the CH-F Primary Care Clinic. He is at Northwest Health Services Monday through Friday. Dr. Espejo sees patents at Northwest Health Services Monday through Thursday. They live in Mound City with their son, Tristin. The couple enjoys traveling and watching sports, especially tennis, together.
